Click the pencil doodle above this line to edit this information Name: Dirk Visser Interest in Niles: A Resident since 1997, Founder and builder of "The Nile Cafe" 121 "I" Street, Former Niles Main Street board member, Holiday Home Tour chair, I have a 10 year old daughter named Zoe, known by many in town, who attends the nearby California School for the Deaf, Fremont. Other: Presently and for the past two years operating a creative and strictly local outdoor construction service called "GardenGateways". Fences, gates, and arbors have become the specializations of my work in recent months. Designing pre-made garden arches, trim kits to add character to existing stock fences, and developing a line of Trellisses and Arbors for off-site production is the direction my work is now only beginning to take. In the meantime, and for the forseeable future, I am still dedicated to keeping my hand in working on site with clients to learn from the successes of meeting the unique needs of each individual property. I feel I will always find great satisfaction and meaning in assisting clients develop beautiful and strong garden architecture, that enhances and fits their site in truly pleasing ways.
